Method

I have designed this method to be a supplementary additional element in the field of life coaching and to be easy, quick, and compatible with all age groups. What is more, its tools are easily operated under different circumstances.

This method may offer a substantial help to adults, youths, and kids in the following fields:

  • To increase self-confidence
  • To come out of a particular state of disappointment due to a social or career circumstance or to any other reason.
  • To look differently at ourselves and at the events in such a way that enables us to largely regain control on our life affairs.
  • To concentrate on the expertise that we have gained from a particular experience that left us with negative feelings.
  • To come out of a state of disappointment resulting from getting low or insufficient marks at school or university exams.
  • To help persons who completed psychological therapy and are looking for a method that helps them rebuild their lives again.

The key principle in this method is derived from the idea that we, as humans, do not have control over the events that we might see or the news that we might hear in our daily life. On the other hand, we have full control over our reactions to every event. Here comes the role of coaching on how to control our reactions.

Attention: this method is a supplementary element in life coaching. It does not fall within psychological therapy or states of dealing with acute psychological shocks.

During coaching, this method considers the following sequence in order to come out from an undesired psychological state to a better one:

 

First – Understanding: 

When I suddenly find myself in a particular psychological state, regardless of the events and persons who caused it, specific questions hang over: 

  • What is exactly happening with me?
  • Why is this happening to me?
  • How come I am no longer able to control my ideas?
  • How come I am no longer able to control my feelings and reactions?
  • How can I come out of this situation?

Secondly – learning: 

Here comes the role of coaching and getting hold of the different appropriate and simple skills and techniques to be used as keys for opening closed doors today which might appear to me in different forms in the future.

The more keys we have, the more able we will be to open them.    

Third – Testing and experimenting the information:

Here comes the stage of coaching on using the keys we have gained from this method and other methods in life coaching so we can get sufficient skills and experience to be used at the right time and according to the correct method.

Fourth – Restarting once again:

After understanding, learning, and experience, these skills are going to become part of our personality and way of thinking. We will control our reactions to a great extent. As a result, the new restart in our life becomes possible and real.
